Austin: Memorial/vigil for Nathaniel Sanders, 1 year anniversary of his death

Nathaniel Sanders IIToday is the 1 year anniversary of the death of Nathaniel Sanders II at the hands of an Austin Police Department officer.

This is a day about Nate: to reflect on a young man's life cut too short & a time to build community; share concerns and sorrows with each other.

Bring flowers, gifts, cards/notes, etc. for the memorial altar.

APD will not be servicing the area; Travis County Sheriff's Office will handle area calls.

Media will be asked to stay at a distance--but interested folks are encouraged to go & speak on camera/record about what this day means to them.
