CRUDE documentary opening at the Angelika Houston

As some of you may already know, Joe Berlinger’s latest documentary, CRUDE, opens in Houston at the Angelika Theaters for one week only (!), beginning11/06.

The film covers the largest environmental lawsuit in global history--what's been dubbed the "Amazon Chernobyl" case, a class action lawsuit filed 16 years ago by 30,000 Ecuadoreans against Chevron.  The impending $27 billion judgement will no doubt set a precedent for how transnational corporations will be held accountable in the future.

Here’s a link to the Angelika theaters in Houston, where the film will be shown from 11/6/09 until 11/12/09.
