We caught up with Texas Lt. Governor candidate Marc Katz at his famous 24-hour deli in downtown Austin. In part one of this video interview, find out why he claims that "I don't feel that I could possibly have a weaker opponent than David Dewhurst." We're on the brink of disaster, says Katz, and these guys are telling me we aren't in a recession.
Texas is losing it's strength, says Katz. "We were globaly important in energy. Now 'drill baby drill' is not the answer anymore. There's a whole industry out there called Green Collar. We could do stuff now that could put Texas again in the center of the world for energy. We're just not doing anything about it."

In part two, find out what actions David Dewhurst took to harm gay people in Texas. Consider whether hypocrisy makes an elected official's sexual preference the people's business, and find out how Marc Katz plans to make David Dewhurst's mascara drip. "I thought we came from a country and a state that believes in equal rights," says Katz, "not equal rights just for some people .... I'm a populist and I'm a constitutionalist."
