When I saw this article on Huff-Po talking about how Leo Berman of Tyler, Texas was crying about how President Obama was 'God's punishment' on him and his right-wing ilk, there were two things I wanted to say... First, i wanted to say 'Leo, you're a grown man stop whining. Man up you ole douche bag, grow a pair and stop crying. All that whining is making Texans look bad. You know the rules, true Texans don't cry about who's in office, they hold it down and keep it moving'.
Second thing I wanna say to Mr. Berman, is 'You're damn right you're being punished by God.. and you know what? There's more of that good punishment on the way'.
The reason why God is punishing you Leo is for your obstinate nature. You Leo Berman refuse to accept the changes all around you. Yiou refuse to grow. You keep holding on to those old outdated ways and God is helping you along by pruning you like a tree. He's getting you prepared for a brand new more diverse world.
Yes Leo Berman, time for the good ole boy network you been a part of to fall apart. That's what's happening right now and until you learn to accept the fact that the world is bigger than the narrow parameters you and your buddies put on it, then there will be more Barack Obama's in the White House...Get used to it.
Lastly Mr Berman, instead of crying about Obama, try bringing your ternacious attitude to the corporations that run him and all the other mucky mucks up on Capitol Hill. Wanna know where the bailout money went? Try talking to Lloyd Blankfein head of Goldman Sachs. You might also wanna talk to our governor Rick 'Good Hair' Perry...He was running some schemes when that first batch came in...

Leo Berman, Texas State Rep., Says Obama Is 'God's Punishment On Us'

Conservative firebrands were out in force in Tyler, Texas over the weekend, speaking at a Glenn Beck-headlined "Taking Back America" rally.
"I believe that Barack Obama is God's punishment on us today, but in 2012, we are going to make Obama a one-term president," declared Texas state Rep. Leo Berman (R-Tyler) according to the Tyler Morning Telegraph.
Berman's extreme words were accompanied by other comments from conservative figures, including Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.), who, in the height of the health care debate last month said that "demons" had invaded Washington and were causing Democrats to mislead voters about the merits of the bill.
Glenn Beck, speaking at the event, said: "Do you believe this is God's land? Do you believe our constitution was divinely inspired? Why do you believe those things?" Beck asked. "If God is with us, who can possibly stand against us? The answer is no one."
Texas Gov. Rick Perry also made an appearance and called the Tea Party an "army" that was gathering to "take their country back and send a message to this administration, to this Congress," an army that he said he was "proud to be in."
