MC Lyte Rocks Houston - Female Emcees Are Right Here
Submitted by Southern Shift on Mon, 2009-11-09 15:19Pioneering Hip Hop icon MC Lyte touched down in Houston for the Discovery Green /Living Life Festival and got seriously busy. She let the packed crowd know that female emcees weren't a rarirty in Hip Hop and that people need to turn off their radios and not be a statistic for outlets that don't represent the culture. She then proceeded to rock the house and even brought fans upon the stage to rap along with her.
