Is Texas gearing up to send another one of her sons to the White House? If it's current Governor Rick Perry, we certainly hope not. Folks should be warned. In recent weeks 'Mr Good Hair' has been acting like the 'reluctant warrior' who may 'need' to go to the White House and 'save' America. Yes, we know it's laughable, but we've seen stranger things - Can You say George W Bush?

Now that Healthcare Reform has passed the next fault-line in the political landscape is Immigration... Not immigration which has suddenly allowed thousands of people to some how come over from Russia and populate places like Brighton Beach, Brooklyn... Not immigration from places like former Yugoslavia. We're talking about immigration from Mexico and other places throughout Latin America resulting in people all being placed under the umbrella of Mexican and along with that every conceivable negative stereotype.
At the same time the Obama administration is talking about a dramatic “spending freeze” on any and all projects unrelated to war-making, this is exactly what’s in store, it is quietly increasing the federal budget for even more prisons.
Last night’s State of the Union address by President Obama came a bit too little too late… Yes, it was perceived as a good speech in many circles but only because he finally focused on the one thing nagging at the heels of at least 1 out of every 10 Americans… We’re talking about JOBS.

Looks like we have to start off the new year by tagging former Vice President Dick Cheney as a straight up ‘Hater’ who is doing what many people think he and the rest of the Bush administration did best over the past ten years - Pimp the 9-11 tragedy. For those who haven’t been keeping up, Mr. Cheney has been running around blasting the Obama administration for the attempted Christmas Day terror attack by Al Qaeda operative Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.
Posting up excerpts of acceptance speeches for the Nobel Peace Prize by both President Obama and Martin Luther King. The natural thing is to make comparisons and perhaps demand that Obama be more King-like especially as he is sending 30 thousand more troops to Afghanistan…
This week the United Nations is holding it’s big conference in Copenhagen, Denmark called COP15. This is where the important issue of Climate change is being discussed. Thus far over 34 thousand delegates and press have descended to a convention that only seats 15 thousand. So many people are there that a lottery has been set up to allow people in. Many in attendance feel this is the last opportunity for the world to come together to reverse the lifestyle and business practices that spawn pollution and has led to severe Global Warming.
Efforts still needed to establish comprehensive national policy and expanded research
