I would like to suggest that the articles in last week's Dallas Morning News regarding the resignation of State Rep. (D) Terri Hodge be distributed to your audience. I am personally fed up with the corruption WITHIN the Democratic Party -- many of the people in and around the electoral process see it as nothing more than a money-making opportunity for sale to the highest bidder.

Bill White is the best choice for the U. S. Senate seat for four important reasons:
• His extensive experience in both the legislative and executive branches of the federal government leaves him the Democrat best qualified and prepared to serve our state in the U. S. Senate.
• Having served as a precinct chair and state party chair, his Party credentials are superior.
This should be very interesting and we should pay close attention to how this unfolds. On one hand we all remember the immense controversy that took place during the Democratic primaries. Obama supporters complained of voter suppression tactics by Hillary supporters. Others were upset when Obama came away with more delegates at the end of the day because he had a shrewd two-step caucus strategy. LULAC is not saying whether or not they were upset that one candidate over another received more delegates, but conventional wisdom suggest this may have been spawned from the Clinton defeat.
